SHIFT G Workshop
We are living in times of big changes.
Technology is reshaping the world we live in and is revolutionizing the way we communicate with each other.
Everything is shifting into new directions and even simple concepts like knowledge and authorities are mutating into new forms.
The world of media and communications is one of the first to go through this metamorphosis: the old rules are gone forever and the new global audience is producing and consuming information simultaneously.
How this shift will affect our day by day jobs in media, communications, journalism and advertising?
Are we all aware that the way we think, produce and deliver today is completely based on obsolete models?
What are the new social media tools that technology is empowering us with, and what are the new skill sets required to play the game in the digital arena?
The SHIFT G workshop it's the latest version of a series of SAE's International lectures ( SHIFT ) produced and delivered by Giorgio Ungania, centered on the impact of social media technologies in our lives and workplaces.
The workshop is 8 hours long and is divided into two day session of 4 hours each ; the training is heavily based on practical examples and will leave participants with all the basic skill sets to step comfortably into the new media and communications environment.
The workshop can take place at SAE's headquarters facilities or at the client's venue.
Contents of the workshop are based and inspired by the works of Clay Shirky, Jeff Jarvis, Kevin Kelly, David Weinberger and Leo Laporte.
